Before Adam was born, his mum Kate Milligan had met John Winchester while she was working as nurse, when he had come into the hospital because he had gotten hurt on a hunt. Since Kate was one of the only few nurses around on the graveyard shift, she just happened to be around and on duty when John came through the doors.
This young lad who just happens to go by the name of Adam Milligan, he was born in the year 1990 in the month of September, and he and his mum just happened to live in Windom, Minnesota. His Mum’s name was Kate Milligan, who just happened to work as a nurse. While he was little he spent a lot of time with his mum, while she was on maternity leave. Adama also remembers spending days going out to the park, and playing on all of the different activities equipment there and even playing with the other children as well. When his mum went back to work as Adam was now older, he was enrolled in school and he just enjoyed his life, playing with all the different people he got to know. At first, Adam was a tiny bit envious of other people having a dad apart of their family, but as Adam grew older he just accepted that is was just him and his mum and went along with it, because that is all that he knew and he did not ask about who his father actually is, for a very long time.
Adam and his mum had a great bond while he was growing up, even though Adam was not at all spoiled he was brought upright. However, one of the things he did not enjoy was that his mum actually had to work the nightshifts, because he knew that it meant he was going to be left all by himself once again. Kate actually told Adam what she was doing, and Adam understood that she needed to go back to work to support both of them. Even though Adam was not a lazy child at all, he even taught himself how to cook his own meals, and he even earned a little bit of pocket money, by doing chores for his neighbour. The chores that he did for the neighbours were varied, from mowing the lawn to sorting out their sheds. Adam knew it was not much, but he also knew that it would help his mum out a lot. Adam also managed to do the shopping for himself and on times for the older neighbours nearby. As Adam was growing older, his mum decided to take up a few more nightshifts, which were often known as the graveyard shifts at the local hospital. More often than not Adam, had to actually make his own dinners, and the worst he even had to put himself to bed. On the very few rare times, that his mum was home they had a family dinner, most of the time it was Adam who had done the cooking, and had the food ready for when his mum came home from work.
However, when Adam reached twelve years old, and after a few days of rare arguments with his mum, because he was tired of her not spending enough time with him and always seemed to be living at the hospital to Adam. He found out about his father because he was being like any normal kid and just happened to be bored, and started looking through his families belongings. Then once again the next day, Adam somehow finally convinced his mother just to actually make contact with his father. Before the first meeting, Adam was feeling a little bit nervous about meeting his father, because he did not know him, and his father did not know anything about him at all. Adam was wondering if he would be liked or not. After their first meeting, Adam only had sporadic contact with his own father. When Adam did actually have contact with Joh, Adam remembers having been taught how to play Poker and even how to play Pool, John even managed to take Adam to Baseball games, always on his Birthday, which Adam really loved going to watch. Another Adam remembers, is John buying him his very first beer when he was only fifteen years old, and a year later he remembers being taught to drive in The Impala.
Soon it was time for Adam to actually head off to University, he decided that he was going to be studding and taking classes in Pre-Med along with Studying Biology Major. As Adam was just an ordinary young lady, enjoying his time in University which just happened to include Adam having fun and going out with just the handful of friends he had managed to get, and just have a good time. Anyhow Adam’s life took a took when he headed back to his home a week earlier than normal, all because he had gotten a phone called to say that his mum was missing and had not turned up for her shift at work. Since Adam did not what else to do he called the number of his father, his mum just happened to have nearby, however when ne heard who was on the other end of the phone was a shock to found out that it wasn't his dad.
